ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

What is Polished Man?
add remove

Polished Man is a movement inviting everyone - especially men - to stand up, speak out, and take action to end violence against women and children. By painting one nail, you start conversations that raise awareness, challenge stereotypes, and inspire change.

Why is it called “Polished Man”?
add remove

Because men play a vital role in creating a safer future. Most men do not use violence, but too many stay silent. We’re here to change that. We call on men (and everyone) to step forward, say “enough is enough,” and be part of the solution.

Do I have to be a man to take part?
add remove
Not at all. Violence against women and children affects us all, so everyone is invited to join the movement, no matter how you identify.
Do I have to paint my nail blue?
add remove
No! You can paint it blue, pink, rainbow, glitter, or any colour that sparks conversation. One nail or all of them, the goal is to start talking.
