Polished Man 26

I'm painting my nail blue to build a future free from violence.

Every person deserves to feel safe and cared for. But the pressure on men to hide their feelings and act tough is hurting their mental health, and in some cases leading men to think it's acceptable to control or even harm women and children. Polished Man backs the role models men already trust, to flip the script: helping men open up, ask for help, and show up for the people they love.

One painted nail starts a conversation. It's a small, visible sign that helps create new possibilities for how we show up for ourselves and each other.

Please sponsor me and help build safe, caring communities free from violence. Funds raised go directly towards backing local leaders, safer workplaces and storytelling that shifts the culture for good. Thanks for your support.

My Updates

One woman is too many.

Wednesday 30th Sep
So far in 2026, at least 25 women in Australia have been killed in domestic-violence-related incidents.

Behind every number is a daughter, mother, sister, partner, friend or colleague whose life should not have been cut short.

Polished Man is about more than painting a fingernail. It is a visible commitment to standing against violence, challenging harmful attitudes and helping create a culture where respect, accountability and safety are expected. NOT OPTIONAL!

As men, we have a responsibility to speak up, look out for each other, challenge disrespect and take responsibility for the culture we help create.

This October, I’m becoming a Polished Man again.

One painted nail. One conversation. One step towards a safer future.

Please donate if you can.
