Polished Man 26

I'm painting ALL my nails to build a future free from domestic violence.

Every person deserves to feel safe and cared for. But some men think it's acceptable to control or even harm women and children. Polished Man rejects the manosphere and asks all men to flip the script: helping men open up, ask for help, and show up for the people they love.

One painted nail starts a conversation.  I want to start hundreds of conversations.  So I'm painting ALL MY NAILS with whatever designs my top sponsors choose. Having a full set of wild nails on this old man will surely start more conversations.

Anyone who donates $100 or more can adopt one of my nails and tell me what to paint on it (within reason!).  You can look at the banner here to see some of your inpirations from past years.   Some are really cool.  Some are not really my thing.  But ... you're the customer.  Make a $100 donation, individually or pooled as a group, and you can suggest just about anything you want.

Please help us raise awareness and build communities free from domestic violence.  Thanks for your support, Jonathan

Painting ALL my nails to raise awareness and end Domestic Violence

Thursday 1st Oct
Join me in taking a stand against domestic violence – Donate Now!

This October I’m taking a stand against domestic violence by joining the Polished Man campaign.  I’ll be wearing nail polish all month which should generate a lot of conversations with colleagues and total strangers when I’m out and about.  The goal is to raise awareness and raise money to support women and children affected by domestic violence.

The normal approach for Polished Man fundraisers is to paint one nail blue.  But I’m employing a few unique strategies to start conversations and drive donations.

First, to have a bit of fun and draw a lot more attention, I'll paint each of my nails with whatever designs my top sponsors choose. Having a full set of wild nails on this old man will surely start more conversations.

Then, to help solidify the messaging in those conversations, I’ll give a printed card to everyone who asks about my nails.  The card features sobering facts about the scourge of domestic violence and provides a QR code link for more information.

So here’s the big pitch.  Any donation you can afford, no matter the amount, will raise awareness, challenge attitudes, and help DV affected families.  Anyone who donates $100 or more can buy one of my nails and tell me what you want me to paint on it (within reason!).  You can look at the banner above to see some of the images from past years.   Some are really cool.  Some are not really my thing.  But ... you're the customer.  Make a $100 donation, individually or pooled as a group, and you can suggest just about anything you want.

Thank you so much, Jonathan
