I'm painting my nail blue to build a future free from violence.

Every person deserves to feel safe and cared for. But the pressure on men to hide their feelings and act tough is hurting their mental health, and in some cases leading men to think it's acceptable to control or even harm women and children. Polished Man backs the role models men already trust, to flip the script: helping men open up, ask for help, and show up for the people they love.


One painted nail starts a conversation. It's a small, visible sign that helps create new possibilities for how we show up for ourselves and each other.

Here we go! (Again 😁)

Thursday 1st Oct
This is my 11th year fundraising. Over that time I've raised over $16k, which I'm quite proud of. The downside is that we have to do this at all.
It seems every day there's a new, horrific story about men, or boys, committing some heinous act against a woman or child. We like to think we're in an enlightened age, but the truth is we seem to be going backwards. 
So good men, stand up, show courage, stop the violence and act as positive role models!
