Refunds
If you have made a donation in error, Polished Man is happy to refund you provided you notify us as soon as possible. If you have signed up for recurring giving, you may receive a refund for the most recent month's donation. If you wish to request a refund, then please contact us at hello@polishedman.org.
Tax-deductible donations
ygap Ltd is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). Donations of $2 or more to Polished Man are tax deductible in Australia. A receipt will be issued for your donation.
Polished Man's rights
Polished Man may remove any content posted by you or prevent access by you to our website at its entire discretion. Any failure by Polished Man to enforce our rights under these General Terms is not a waiver and we remain entitled to enforce our rights.
Communications
When you sign up to fundraise, register or join a fundraising page, make a donation, purchase a starter kit, join our mailing list or community, or otherwise interact with Polished Man, you provide us with contact details that may include your email address, phone number and postal address.
Service communications
We will send you communications that are necessary to deliver the campaign or service you have signed up for, such as welcome and confirmation messages, password resets, donation confirmations and tax receipts, fundraising resources, and account or campaign administration messages. These form part of providing the service to you.
Marketing and campaign communications
If you have provided your contact details, we may also contact you about your participation in the campaign, impact updates, news, future campaigns, fundraising appeals and other information about Polished Man and our work. We may send these by email, and, where you have provided the relevant details, by SMS or text message, phone or post. By providing your email address or phone number, you consent to receiving these communications. Any marketing message we send will identify us as the sender and will include a way to opt out.
Opting out
You can opt out of marketing and campaign communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying with the opt-out instruction in any SMS, or contacting us at hello@polishedman.org. Opting out of marketing will not stop service communications that are necessary to administer your account, donation or campaign.
