I'm painting my nail blue to build a future free from violence.

Every person deserves to feel safe and cared for. But the pressure on men to hide their feelings and act tough is hurting their mental health, and in some cases leading men to think it's acceptable to control or even harm women and children. Polished Man backs the role models men already trust, to flip the script: helping men open up, ask for help, and show up for the people they love.


One painted nail starts a conversation. It's a small, visible sign that helps create new possibilities for how we show up for ourselves and each other.

Titas Story.

Last year (2025) I was stalked, threatened and harrassed constantly by an ex-partner.

This individual has stalked me on and off over the course of the last 16 years. I have had years in between where the target was off my back, but only because there was a new victim in his life.

After 3 AVOs and countless police statements, he was finally arrested and charged with multiple counts of stalking, amoung a string of other charges relating to domestic violence. The case is still on going, and he is set to be sentenced at a later date in 2026. 

The Polished Man is an initiative I've raised funds for in the past, and wanted to be part of again this year through my own personal experiences and of those who I've met and made friendships with over the years.
It's horrific to experience, and no women or children should have to be subject to violence in any form, especially at the hands of someone who is meant to bring trust and safety to their lives.

Help my team and I spread awareness, raise donations, or join our team and make your own pledge. I'm hoping to raise at least $500 during the month of October - and all the men in my life will have their nails painted as a way of showing their support to to the cause.

This October we are raising funds for The Polished Man. This non profit initiative aims to end violence against women and children. The boys are going to 'man up' and have one (or all 10) nails painted to raise awareness and money for this cause during October. Donations go towards funding trauma recovery, prevention programs, and community initiatives. Unicorn Lab is committing to donate 50% of all profits from our Men's Cuticle oil range sold during October.
